Just got back from 10 weeks of Copper Canyon, Mexico coast and Guatemalan jungle. Wife says...."Don't you EVEN start talkin about that 'Akaska this summer' bullshit!". Guess I need something shorter and closer to home.

So, is the program mostly twisty asphalt or should I bring the Kawasaki Labrador Retriever with the knobby tires? Just want to select the appropriate tool.

Thanks.

There is any sort of riding that you want available in the Marlinton area, except maybe hard-core single track. Any bike would be a good bike to bring.

program is any bike, any road.

lots of twisty macadam with some 90 mph sweepers.

lots of packed gravel, narrow woods roads. your choice.

I'm in, but may not stay for the whole thing. The girlfriend and I are heading to Vegas to get married, this seems like a great way to kick off the trip. We'll be 2 up on an overloaded FJR, have to be pavement rides only for us.

Probably count me out of the saturday night meal as of now, I'll know for sure once plans are set better. Still don't know the wedding date or anything, but now I at least have a departure date.

No way!

I have exactly 3 Harley T shirts, and that is only because they were 3 for $10 at the swap meet.

Just got off the phone with the Marlington Motor Inn.

Still some rooms left if people want to snag them.

$63 per night including tax.

A while back GSWeave put a reporter from Motorcycle.com in touch with me. Liz Jansen told me she was writing a story about riding in WV and wanted to know why we chose Marlinton as our base.

Here is a link to the article. We get our shout out towards the end of the article.

Enjoy the article.
