thats becouse they are cra pand just fall apart so you have to spend money on them. i was luck to see the light and sold my klr.

Anything with forward controls is right out. Uncomfortable and unnerving. Who thought that was a good idea? Oh, and anything with bars that put my hands at the same height as my shoulders.

I got to demo a V-Rod when they came out. Much of that ride was spent looking down at the road and trying to figure out where to put my feet.

assless chaps are just called chaps

funny thing every time i hear someone call them assless chaps i keep thinking of my guitar teacher... he once had a gig and one of the lead singers of another band really did have just his damn underwear-- and the girls kind--in chaps but he was a dude

Kawasaki for me too. Would never buy another one. Dealers have tried to rip me off too many times and the servicing and customer service is terrible.

I've owned a lot of different kinds of bikes, but I've had 8 Kawis (5 KLRs, 2 dirtbikes and a Ninja) and loved every single one of them. Then again, I almost never buy new and I do all my own service, so dealing with dealer BS isn't an issue.

I'd say that I would never buy a BMW, but I have, so that rules out that choice,

so instead I'll say Ducati. but for similar reasons.

- Too expensive to purchase, insure, maintain and fix.
- Overvalued = overpriced.
- Unreliable (this one should be at the top of the list).

This is not intended as a bash against Ducati, it's just a personal opinion based purely on the experiences of friends who've owned them, as well as my being a cheap-ass when it comes to owning motorcycles.

anything shiny, new and pretty. I like to ride, don't mind wrenching, but have never been much for detailing. Also wouldn't want shiny chrome pipes to deter me from going where I shouldn't...

i dont like harleys because they are slow and overweight and not as reliable as the asian bikes.

If Harley's were so over priced they would not be increasing their market share. Ten years ago it was 48% Now it is 54% Something impossible to do if they were "overpriced"
