Any progress report on the 950 filter kit?

Got my CPR Rottweiler and installed it yesterday.

I had to remove the SAS which was a PITA.

Once you have the air box off there is lots of room to work and installing the Rottweiler is pretty straight forward.
I was worried about water splashing up and heat coming off the engine.
I made a prototype barrier under the Rottweiler base plate out of aluminum flashing.

Put everything bad together and the bike started fine, no SAS FI faults.
Servicing this filter is going to be so simple compared to removing the top of the air box.

Once I get the flashing dialed in I use slightly thicker material and add heat shield.
I'm also thinking about raising up the glovebox base about 1/4 inch.
This would form a slot all the way around the glovebox mask to allow air in.
Should work even with a tank bag.

The 950 base plates are done! Waiting for filters to show up.

These should start shipping to me this Wed or Thurs. I should have them to start shipping out to you Next week about the same time.

Your filters kit should be to you around 4/17/12.

There has been a huge response to these all around the world and the next batch is almost sold out again with only a few kits remaining.

If you are interested and don't want to wait another month, get your order in NOW.

Jet kits should be ready soon and a General FI tune to get you started with is available through CPR soon.
These are not custom Tunes build for each bike, but just a general tune that should get you running. CPR still recommends getting your bike custom tuned for TOP HP if that is a must for you.

That's all I have at this time.

I'll keep you posted when they arrive and start shipping.

I just put mine all back to stock jetting & air filter in preps for the new filter kit. I want a baseline of stock before making the change. Then I know what & where to change.

Would just like to thank both CPR for bringing a great new product out for our 990/950 and to cjracer for selling us said product at a reduced rate . I received my filter a few days ago but have since headed back to work and will probably not get to install until May . Still looks like a great system and cant wait to hear and feel it on the bike.

I want to know when I should start visiting the PO daily.

Once I get them, I'll update here when I start to ship. Keep an eye on your box after that.

Next batch of Filters for 990 and 950 shipped out to me today.

CPR wanted to update the 950 plates after the first batch weren't perfect. So I should see these next week and start shipping kits out.

CPR will be talking with Filter Skins and Uni on optional Pre-filter wrap systems for this kit next week and I will post an update on this when I hear back.

990 FI Mapping info will be posted on the CPR site for down load and 950 Jetting kits should be available in the near future.

Currently testing on the 950 SE has been an Eye opener and the rider has been very happy with it.

So you can get the filter out of your super enduro without taking the fuel tank off ??
"All I need to do is remove the tank bolts and lift the tank enough to get my hand on the Dzues in the front and the filter pops right out. Nothing needs to be disconnected, it's easy. Still working with Ken to do more jetting tweaks but so far the results have been good. "

"My experience was better throttle response... I have zero experience with the motohooligan set up, never even seen one, so not sure how to respond. I will say that my CPR filter is properly oiled, which might create some restriction for better response. I'll be on the Dyno next Tuesday, so I'll see what the numbers look like."

He'll be back on the dyno soon for some final tests and more pic.
