Great pipes though!

Wings

I am very interested in the wings. I sent wings an email asking if i get tagged import fees from Europe to USA.
According to their promotion, its 649.00 plus 75.00 shipping.
Way better than akrapovics.
I bought the safari tank for my se and want to get rid of the neduro and 2 into 1 so bike "looks meaner " and sound is a little quieter. awaiting response from them :)

Gotta love a $330 dollar markup (51% ) when you have no other source for them...

I bought a pair last year and they were like $800 all in shipped to me. I don't remember but ?I think the shipping at the time was well over $100, but I don't remember paying any duties or anything like that. Worth every penny!!!

They come with two sets of DB killers, I'm not sure if they qualify as spark arrestors though. It is basically a screen bubble that sits inside the end of the can.

Sorry for my exhaust ignorance, but what make Wings so special compared to other exhausts?

They are all basically a tube running through one type of absorption material or another.

From a performance standpoint, I'm pretty sure all aftermarket exhausts are equal, with slight differences in sound, weight, form, color, materials ...
What makes Wings great is the fact that you buy Akrapovic quality at half the price, sound and craftsmanship are awesome, and you can contact the owner directly, he'll take care of you if you ever have any problem. Gorazd is one of the nicest guy to deal with.
That's a lot in my book

Quality of build goes a long way. As does relationships with customers.

I myself think the stock cans sound fine. Sound is not a big thing in my book. But the damn heat and weight etc from the cats in the stockers suck. So I want new can's before I go and do the SAS plates etc.

Hence my question....

Yeah, heat was the main reason I took off the stockers. BTW, cats aren't heavy at all, the amount of steel from the exhaust is the culprit for the weight and keeping the heat. They are built to last ...
http://www.ktm950.info/how/Farkels/a...v_exhaust.html

When I bought the bike I put some carbon GPRs but never liked their tone and they were waaaay too loud, so I decided on Wings after watching pics over here, hearing only good things about Gorazd and also because of $$$.
Some pics:

But I'm sure every owner of Akras, FMF, Leos, Remus,...is as happy as I am with my Wings. You can't go wrong with any of them, but I'd still recommend taking a look at Wings and their quality, they are hard to beat at that price.

On a side note... how many times a company sells you an item and a few weeks later they ask you if everything is fine with their product and how much you liked? I felt I was the most important customer on earth.
Last year, inmate BELSTAFF contacted me to see if I could help with communication so I contacted Gorazd and gave him Belstaff's address. I only sent a couple of emails here and there and I received a Tshirt and some goodies from Gorazd. This guy has turned me into a very loyal customer, he earned that.
