Attending CSR4

The latest note from d'Lynn said that he has had a smaller response this year than he did last year at the same time prior to the rally. This has been an outstanding rally and hope that d'Lynn gets a good turn out so that he can continue holding this rally. I have been to the prior three rallies and will be attending this one. I also plan to participate in the phase 2 but the route for this will not be planned until closer to the rally when we can get some input from the rangers on where the snow levels are and which roads are open. Hope to see many of you there and please get your registrations in so that d'lynn can do his planning to make this another great sidecar rally in a beautiful location.

Bah Humbug!

Sorry to say, but I probably won't be able to attend. I really want to, believe me! I am having issues with my left arm and hand since rotator cuff surgery. Hopefully it will improve.

If I can't drive the hack down, maybe I'll take the wife there in the 4Runner and visit everyone. I should just send in my payment so d'Lynn has the $$ to keep this going. Hope that will be kosher??

My 3rd & 4th fingers of my left hand have gone tingly and numb for about a month now. Very hard to hold on to a steering wheel or hand grip for more than an hour without the whole arm starting to hurt. Will be seeing a surgeon next week, hoping we can figure something out. Wish me luck! My wife finally really likes riding/driving in the hack with me, and now this happens.

Supporting the CSR is a good thing to do. The first year for CSR, I went with my two wheeled bike to see other rigs and to talk with attendees to try to figure out what I wanted to do to create a sidecar rig for my planned usage. Having rigs is important at the rally but also having knowledgeable attendees provides valuable information to the newbees that are trying to figure out what they want to do. So I say come on over and join into the fun.

*bump*

I camped up @ Lake Chelan SP last weekend (site #11) and it was pretty nice out.
Clear skies, stars up above, a little fire... brunch in Leavenworth on the ride home... that is all.

Seeya' in Chelan!

We will be leaving the Spanaway/Tacoma area on Thursday for Chelan. Does anyone care to meet up and make it a CONVOY ?

- mebbe'... what route you planning to take?
I usually go through Tiger Pass/Snoq/Bluett and stop off in Cle Elum, Leavenworth & Entiat along the way... might leave Wednesday evening and overnight @ Lake Easton SP... haven't decided yet.

Snow levels supposed to drop to 3,000 feet tonight, with snow in Snoq tomorrow was eine Schiesse!
