Hack for VTX1800S
My friends bite me and I have been infected. This is why I am here.
Firstly third to buy the side car for Indian Chief, looked at different variants and decide that will order Champion Legend later. And what about right now and right here? I also third to buy the side car in USA and delivered it fast to home but... It's difficult to find fast what I want. What I want cost certain money which I do not ready to spend this moment. This is why I decide to build the side car for VTX 1800 S buy own and not only hands. What is available to find in our market? It didn't take a lot of time to make a choose. I choose this side car as a base for my own:

What I want to do:
1. change the wheel and fender on original front wheel and fender of the bike 2. use the same tail and turn lights as the bike have 3. paint the side car the same color as the bike 4. stay tent aka cabriolet, change the material on new and modern 5. stay the trunk 5. stay the universal side car frame with "balls" lock. 6. change the windshield on new one. 7. change the cover of the seat on new one. Hope will finish everything in May. |

Looks like you have a good project in the making.
Please keep posting your pix as work develops. Does the little worker in the sidecar go w/ the deal? |

We offer bike specific mounts for the VTX1800S however they use the same clevis/hiem joint mount that the Champion legend does (we are also a Champion dealer) We also have new from billet triple tree's to change the angle of the forks which makes for lighter steering as a sidecar bike. BTW, you can mount an automotive tire on the stock rear wheel of your VTX

That's awesome. Keep us posted. That's a great city you live in. I caught a train there in 2004 when I visited Irbit.

Wheel, fender, tail and turn lights already came to the Russia from USA, somewhere in the customs stock. Hope will get it soon. Tent and seat getting new coating and shape. Seat frame was covered by plastic paint.
As far as parts will come to me, will start to modify the frame of the side car and preparing installation. So, everything is running so far. |

Just came bake from 5 weeks trip around the USA. When I was out, the side car have been painted. BUT, they painted in the red only upper parts of the sides. Push them to paint in red the lower part as well.
