Hi Eric, looking forward to checking out your 950 as well.

Went in for surgery yestreday (reason I was rushing to get the bike done). I was supposed to be out for a couple of weeks with nausia and pain. BUT I feel relatively great (no it wasn't a lobotomy), I'm on light duties (and off work)which to me means nothing bigger than a 10 mm....well thats almost every bolt on the bike

Call into Craig at CJDesigns this morning for a few last minute parts...ps: you should take payment plans Craig

Every bolt on my bike is being checked to see if its tight, if its not its getting locktite. Turned key today and battery and electrical seems to be fine. Tanks and fairings should be finished, hopefully get them on soon so I can fire it up.

Rear tanks are comng off. Going to add rubber washers and foam tape along subframe to lessen the grind any dirt will cause in the future between the tanks and the subframe. Once remounted I'll plumb them in to the cross line.

Going to have two modes for the bike, rally and adv.

Rally has the roadbook, Renazco, etc

Adv will see the roadbook removed and a bunch of ram mounted added (garmin 60 for making tracks, garmin zumo for road riding, spot and a iphone holder). Alternately I may keep all the gadgets on the bars and add an aluminum box where the roadbook sits, maybe for rain gear, first aid kit, etc Once the tanks are mounted properly it'll be time to get the Happy Trails rack adjusted so they fit. Two top boxes of different sizes need drilling. RDY saddle. This will complete the Adv mode for distance rides.

90% of its life it will be in rally mode, I suspect about an hour to switch everything over to adv mode.

Anyways, I'm rambelling...must be the painkillers...back to the garage

If that's where it came from, I'm pretty sure I had my way with it too... Cool work, Ted!

To me this bike is sex on wheels, but to rest of ya.....stay away from my bike

Oh and it looks like I'll have to recover the seat, didn't realize it had been around the block so much. I'll never look at it the same way, I feel kinda violated. After years of what i thought was a faithful relationship i find out my seat is a whore
