Patience Russ, it's not easy tracking down a Ghost, let me tell you.

Anyway where we're we? Are yes well we had arrived at Springsure and having spent 2 long days and 1500k's in search of this Starlight my paitence was wearing thin, The possies from the south arrived again no word or any sign of our almost transparent man CS. Was he in fact real? Could this have all been a mere stretch of the Truth, were the Australian historians correct all these years later?

Esky's were filled a fire was lit, and while everyone sat around and pondered what could have been if only a capture had taken place, then someone spoke up "Hey didn't Starlight reckon he was going to send a stripper" just to make you blokes look bad for being soft Adventure riders! Sigh!, it was all to much for me i headed of to bed for a good nights sleep i have no idea what happened after that.

he is still in the rocky hospital , reckons he'll be let go tomorrow then on the train and back in home the next day (apparently they dont want him to fly)

his elbow is broken and i think he said the number 6 rib is also broken

his spleen is only bruised which is better than first thought

my mum is in rocky at the moment visiting her sister so she's looking after him now, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing

thanks for the weekend lads , other than bruce binning it , it was a pearler

At home relaxing. awesome trip thanks to Whats his face, Sean O and Bruce for great company. Tracks courtesy of Gary gave us some golden moments and some gnarley single tracks ending up in dead ends, all in all a hell of an adventure. Had a near death experience going down a forest track when the road went down into a dip from which I came out on one wheel to find a hand made barbed wire gate across the track. I just had enough time to drop the bike before hitting the barbed wire, Steve Mcqueen style, luckily didn't even scratch the paintwork and just had a wire strike on the hip. Whats his face couldn't understand why I didn't see the fance as it was clearly marked with an orange bike when he saw it.
As for Bruces bingle that is a massive story in its own right, I hope Whats his face can type because he needs to tell that one.
Great stripper, awesome food and great company at Springsure only wish I had the extra day to do the gemfields loop. Arcadia made up for it and some great tracks on the way home around Cockatoo.
Thanks OBJ and Barra for organising a great rally, glad I made it.
Andy.

Fancy that nearly 70,000k's on a DR and you get an electrical fault, talk about a lemon.
