No number visible but he was certainly old enough to know better. His riding partners were far more civil than he was. He was probably lucky he left quickly, the Woman Scorned thing and their were 4 in the group. Other than that it was (as usual) a great event.
(and great not to have the usual 4 inches of rain or 100 degree weather)

Here's my humble submission. There are some things I wish I got on video and didn't (like the lunch lines) but I think it came out well.

Akarob, I just wanted to say your video was very educational. Anybody who watches it will learn from it. But I don't care about them. It's like golf, I just care about me. You passed while I was on your course early on. It was before that little bridge. Somehow I went onto the 'Trail Ride route' instead of BBR, but no biggie. I made it through the slop OK, but really taking it trench by trench and hole by hole. You rolled those sections with confidence. We can too! And we will. Looking forward to my next big chance.

Thanks

If I had been on my 990, I would have been terrified of those trails. The really good riders were on the 2 strokes. I'm merely average - on worn out tires. Believe me, I was having a hard time of it on a lot of the trails. At some points, both wheels were sliding at the same time. For all the people I passed, I did it carefully and with regard for the other rider. I think I got passed more than anything else though. It's all about coming back to camp in one piece.

I didn't get any pics on the trail but here's a few back at camp.

Anyone who saw this will probably remember it.

That the BBR runs on Saturday and the Southern Loop is on Sunday ... is not accidental. It allows a rider (or perhaps a trail boss) to get the best of both in one weekend. You (not me, but then I am past my trail riding days) can do both days with one bike but I expect most would be much happier bringing two. It requires a bit more space in the truck or trailer but yeilds double your pleasure.

It all looks so peaceful and organized in those pictures. Must be because there are no riders or bikes! The second picture puzzles me a little, has to be Sunday morning because my truck is next to the tent but is it really early or more like almost noon?

Picked up the donuts at 06:02, pretty sure that I had the DD banner up before 06:30 and I don't see it on the tent so it must have been pretty early. Not seeing many riders had me thinking that it might be after most had left, but the sun was definitely low so .....
