From the Ducati web site

30,000 Kms service interval on the valves thats 18,000 miles to you and me

16 Liters fuel tank so a little over 4.2 gallons

APTC oil bath clutch with ‘slipper' function which can be activated with reduced force on the lever.......

The Ride-by-Wire system, allows 3 different engine mappings to be used to control torque and power:
110 hp with sporting ""HIGH"" torque
110 hp with progressive ""MEDIUM"" torque
75 hp with progressive ""LOW"" torque
75.9lb-ft 10.5kgm @ 5750rpm

Bosch 9MP ABS

8-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC)

Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires

50L semi-rigid side bags

Center stand Sump Guard

Sachs monoshock and USD 43mm Forks

399# Dry 450# Wet weight

Be nice to see Ohlins rear and 50mm Marzocchi fork as an option which would give it over 7" of travel in the front

Why not make a new thread? It's a different bike... 3 pages of this thread are about a kit for the Hyper 796..

Seriously loving this idea.

I may have to wait 4 years before I buy a nice used one though.

I for one have been looking for something appropriate to upgrade my Gran Canyon with and this looks like all I will be needing.

Love it. Realistically when would these hit the dealer floor?

and I don't regret that one bit...though it does leave me wondering what to do with the CGC...right now there is stabilant in the fuel and it is on a tender on a rear stand in the garage for the winter while I mull it over.

Hyperstrada!

Looks like Ducati let the Multistrada and the Hypermotard get busy...

Their 'love child' looks pretty good.

Link to EICMA Ducati Hypermotard/Hyperstrada video. Some good close ups & note Termignoni exhaust on the HMT.

I wish it had a little bigger fuel tank and a 19 inch front...I'll be keeping my GC, I don't get the 17 front on any bike that might even occasionally venture of the pavement. But hey that's just my 2 cents, I sure would like to ride one, maybe that would change my mind...

I to would prefer a 19' front, guess I'll have to send Woodies some business. I'm sure that some
aftermarket folks will come up with a larger tank if its at all possible like CA Cycle works did for the
Hyper
