I find myself cheering for individual players a lot more recently.() I genuinely like Adrian Peterson, Cam Newton, Megatron, any former Purdue guys except Matt Light. And a few others.

I think the Raiders did well in the draft, with what they could. They got some depth where they needed it. Raiders need to get a full set of draft picks but the new GM will get it done.

The Redskins picking Cousins was my biggest WTF moment. Trade up for RG3 and then grab another QB that is just good enough to create controversy? Snyder is the worst owner in the NFL.

I liked the Patriots draft, damn it. How many more years does Brady have? The guys they drafted all have a chance to start. The CBs will compete for logically a single open position (CB's hurt & lame yesterday)but still, that is a great draft.

I don't understand the Bronchokes draft. The reached for every player. Whatever. They'll go far with pissing off their fans with the Tebow trade and their 36 year old QB in a 56 year old body. (Broncos did pretty well, I'm pleased with where they are/headed)

I liked the Niners draft. Wow. I think they are loaded for next season. NFC West is theirs to lose.

Do you think anyone doing draft work for the Bears saw the o-line play in 2011? .

Favorite draft-day moment: I was watching the first round in a bar/restaurant at USC when Matt Kalil was drafted. The place went crazy. I get the feeling he was well-liked.

Damn. I'm not bad. Missed on the Broncos. The draft was OK but Manning was damn good. I thought he would try to over do it and wouldn't compensate for his recent injuries. Wrong.

Pats secondary looked inexperienced and had some odd injuries but I still think it was a good draft for them.

I should write for a fee.

I fully admit to being a fan, not an analyst. The only draft I had an opinion on-- not parroting what I had read--- was the Broncos. And there I was WTF?

You have to take your chances.

I don't mind being wrong on an analysis. Drafts take time to develop. For defensive players, how many are actually good in their first year? The second year is when you see them break out. Look at Von Miller: he was good last year but, damn, this year.

There are a few simple statements that are rarely wrong:

Finished with less than 10 wins? O-line problems.
Finished with less than 6 wins? Needs a QB because the crappy line has destroyed his confidence.
First year with a 3-4 scheme? Need more time and faster players.

Well, Crennell will not get a chance to develop them, that is clear. Perhaps Andy Reid will....certainly he sees potential on that roster or he would have kept on walking.

I'll give you Harbaugh has done a good job. If search around enough, you will probably find I have always been pretty high on Alex Smith, long before Harbaugh. New coaches and systems every year, injuries, he had a rough start. I just hope he gets a chance to play somewhere that needs a starter. No doubt Harbaugh has figured a way to work the K-kid in. Will it last or is it another wildcat? Going to be fun to watch either way.

That's ok, I don't get paid for my analysis, so it is what it is worth.

Oh yeah, and Koncha. Elway got no further than last year, and spent more. Hmmmm..... The Bills did do much better and will most likely build on last years draft with this one. Injuries hurt them this year, without depth. Trent Richardson was the bomb. And the Ravens....nuff said. So what's your beef?
