Roadbooks are on a roll but most days there are 2 rolls so we swap at the mid leg service

Bring small scissors and tape. Sometimes you have to "insert" small sections into the scroll with corrections, but most times it's just for changing from scroll 1 to scroll 2 during the day as scobes has said. I always carry a bit of tape and small scissors with me so I can do running repairs if needed. I have had to do this once so now always carry them - I'll probably never need them again

Excellent, i always have a small roll with me, for use in the morning when rolling the RB in.
Was just going over things (dropping 'dont forgot items' in a cardboard box in the hallway) and thought i'd give a quick shout out to make sure

Re Bike entries
Can't help to notice that this year there are about twice as many overseas rider entries than those originating from NSW/Qld combined- maybe time to think how to attract more riders from those states?

Be interesting to crunch the numbers, but I suspect it would cost the same to race the Safari in WA coming from anywhere, unless you live here! (Based of course on the excellent offer of shipping from the organisers). I know it costs me only slightly more to race the Desert Challenge in the Middle East than to race the Safari in my back yard! The Safari has the measure of the DC though, with both being excellent events. The only thing the Safari needs is more internationals ... now it needs more locals again
