A year or two back. Mid November but it was warm(ish) when I arrived. Two days later and this had fallen overnight. Sheet ice all over the roads and about -10C. It was a long cold ride back to the UK.

We used to backhill snowboard around here when the boards were not allowed at ski resorts.

Took a break here on a trip in 2010. Beautiful area, near Sisters, OR.

I'm full-time patrol up there. As of this afternoon there was 466cm in the Peak weather plot. So, yep.

I Pro Patrolled up Grouse for 3 years before moving on to Blackcomb in 89/90. Small world. It's going off in the mountains this week. Wish I was skiing... Gonna get out next week.
