Just finished with a massive storm cell around dusk... it dropped dime sized hail a bunch of it and a lot of rain but some of the coolest clouds I've seen my camera-phone doesn't do it justice:

This was from a recent trip for an interview. Round trip around 550 miles. But this was on the way to the interview where I stopped put another shirt on and then put my rain cover on my tank-bag. Oh ya there was 50mph cross winds that day (not cool):

Taken in the eastern pyrennes. Me just after we got up the mountain pass (you can see the twisty up on the right). It wasn't raining, we were just in cloud level. Had to ride for a few minutes futher on through the cloud. It was a bit spooky.

In regard to off road riding, it's been destroyed by a casino development on top of the hill because of the new road for the development.

On the other hand the new road is a shit-load of fun on a bike with more road oriented wheels.

I was excited to get this photo as Lenticular clouds are pretty rare...and this one was moving fast and looked just like some kinda spaceship.

That is so cool....can't wait to show my students (we are studying weather).
