Interesting twist on a theme... if you grab the mascot does that mean no one else can bruce you? you know here you are you just grabbed the mascot at took a pic but someone else comes along and takes the pic of the tag place and posts 1st..so in essence is owning the mascot mean you own the tag? So even if you had to ride home and post up...no one could come along nd bruce you because they ddidn take posession of the mascot...is that correct?

I stopped at a friends house just west of Culpeper after I posted. I didn't leave there until after 7PM. I went down to the tag and grabbed Butch...




Then I rode around back and parked. walked into the Pizza parlor and asked if they sold pizza by the slice. Sorry we only sell whole pies. Didn't really want a whole pie. BTW, it was tempting to order a pie as the place was packed and the pies looked(and smelled) real good!
So I went over and got my six pack of Dogfish head 60 minute IPA and went back outside to put Butch back in his hiding spot. That in itself was rather difficult as I didn't want people seeing my place something under the rocks and there were a lot of people walking up and down the sidewalk! Got him back in place and came home. I'm drinking a DFH as I type!


So the trip wasn't a total loss. I should have checked back before I rode to the tag.

So the tag still stands!!! Who wants to sign up for a RTE to grab Butch?

I know...

By the time I thought about it, my food was gone! I got a burger (the small one) and fries. The burger was really good, and big enough to where I'm glad I didn't get the big one.

You are correct on all counts. Actually this has been done like this for a few years on certain games. The having to buy something is a new twist and pretty darn cool if you ask me!

Eastern Panhandle WV tag

Shen valley dual sport tag

Charlottesville tag

Northwestern Va tag

The Va tag, WV tag and the MD tag(and I'm sure there are others) rules state the first to post a pic gets the tag. IMHO having a mascot to grab is a better way to play tag and is fair for all players. The maryland tag tried using a mascot once but the players just didn't get it. It was sort of an after thought. The pic overruled who had the mascot. What?
You can still get bruced though...

After all it's about the ride, not who has the latest Iphone and reception...

correct......only pics of butch with the food/beverage/purchase will be considered. If you aint got butch, you got "bruce"
