Miles: 1648.5
Trip: In the Utah 1088 (utah1088.com) I rode from SLC to Denver (via Grand Junction, CO), then to North Platte, Nebraska, turned around and rode across Wyoming back to SLC. Also certified as a BBG (1500+ in 24 hours).

Proof: http://utah1088.com/2008Mileage.pdf (#4)

That was the last endurance ride I've ridden, or been interested in. That check-box is complete. Now I ride more to enjoy the locations, instead of just a test of personal endurance. Fortunately, I live in Colorado - so I don't have to go far!!

Man I feel like a rookie reading this thread.

Bike : 2001 Sportster 1200
Miles : Between 550 and 600

Visiting the girlfriend in Arkansas, Had to head back home to go to work the next day. I forget the exact mileage, just remember a long, boring highway ride on a Sportster with stock seat, foreword controls, drag bars, and no windshield.

Well Done!

It was nice that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation match the fundraising for Polio Plus.

900. Had I been thinking I would have added 100, kept the fuel/toll receipts, and made it a document Iron Butt ride.

1st 450 was on a 2012 Goldwing. Rode from Topeka Ks. to Altus Powersports (Altus Ok), traded the wing in on a 2014 FJR1300, and then rode back home.

14 hours in the saddle.

1000+ in 24 hrs (not sure exactly) as part of a 1290-mile non-stop from Baton Rouge to Evergreen, CO on an R1100GS

~980 in 20 hrs: John O Groats to Land's End, Sunrise to Sunset, then 100+ back to S. Devon on an R80RT, riding against a strong gusty headwind (up to 60mph gusts at one point) and frequent bands of heavy rain for 3/4 of the ride - Made the above 1290 miles seem easy

Eek

Damn, you guys are nuts!

Bike: SV1000
Miles: 535
Trip: rode to the slimey crud meet and back

ALL TWISTIES NO SLAB.

I really have never tried a really long one. I'd need a different bike and a lot of slab.

Bike is the means, not the reason for travel.

Bike: 13 year-old Honda CB250RS

Miles: a couple of 4-500 mile days during a 3 - 4 week trip in Central Europe in the mid 1990s.

Ypres in Belgium to Baden Baden in Germany; about 400 miles spread over a day.

Lyon to Calais in France; nearly 500 miles spread over a day.

I don't really go for big days when touring except to get to a place I want to explore. On the rest of the trip there was the odd 1-200 mile day, but most days were a lot less, and some days I did little or no riding; there were plenty of other things to do and see.

I have done the odd other near 400 mile day, but would normally prefer break the long legs into 2-300 mile days and smell the roses along the way.
