Actually, the weather forecast has been improving. Two days ago they were saying rain all day, yesterday they said 50% chance of a shower, now they're saying 30% chance of a shower. By tomorrow they may be saying partly cloudy. This is basically the same kind of forecast we had last year and it turned out to be a great day - we got sprinkled on for about ten minutes at one point.
60° and 30% chance of a shower sounds like a perfect day for this kind of ride to me. The trails are so dry this year that even if it rains we'll probably still be drier than last year. And . . . it's supposed to be an adventure anyway.
