I'm excited you went to San Borja!
Did you get photos of Jenaro? Haven't seen him in a while.

You're really killing me with these pics. Those are some cute dogs.

Save some for tomorrow! Give folks a chance to appreciate your report

Tires: great for lots of things like peeing on, or using as windbreaks, radiant heaters, and shade.

Jenaro? I got exactly one name, and that was the dog. Very welcoming folks and I liked that mission the best of all.

I think I have 90 pictures of just dogs.

Two boys at San Borja work on a rancho. I felt foolish about taking a picture of his chaps, so here's the horse instead. It's kind of like a dog.

Man's Best Friend!

The Baja Dogs look so much better than the Yucatan dogs.

Not sure why?

Would be a good subject for a thesis or dissertation, huh?

The pooches on the other side of MX seem to mostly be all tattered and scarred and have bumps and knots all over. Must be a reflection or result of socioeconomic differences. But then again, maybe all the weak ones have been weeded out in Baja?

Smell what I'm stepping in?

Do the dogs in Salida look better than the dogs in Cortez? Yeah, right. That's what I'm talking about.

Any theories?

Any discussion?

Let's get that fucker Geraldo on this ASAP!

Okay, seriously, I am really enjoying the dog picture Ride Report. Great idea! Pure genius! But then again, what did you expect from a coupld of bored Coloradans?

Thanks again for the fun RR Dysco!

Haha, I'm bad at people names, too. Jernero is the son, he's in his early 20s now. He speaks great english and does the tours.
You probably got a photo of him.

90 dog pics!!

I think he might have been wearing the chaps and Cody might have got a pic. We got a mission tour from an old lady who spoke little English (but she did great for us gringos) and the oldest(?) daughter gave us a tour of the fields and beyond. Beautiful spot and we were kind of sad we got there at the beginning of the day. The big news there was that they just planted 200 more grape vines.

This one was there, too...

What's the difference between a local dog and a Baja dog? They let dogs into the restaurants in Baja.

There were 3 or 4 dogs there. Zorra was easiest to ear scratch.

There were baitfish right on the shore that morning in huge numbers. Here's a crummy pic.

I feel like we did something really intelligent right about this time in the trip... I'm sure I have a picture.
