The 2014 North America Super Ténéré Arkansas Rally - The Hub

2014 Yamaha Super Ténéré Rally
Official Details: http://yamahasupertenererally.com

Thought I'd throw this out in the regional forum here in case there's folks who don't venture over to the S10 forum. If you know of anyone who wants a week of awesome on/off/everything in-between riding, we welcome anyone on two wheels. Us Tenerista's need a big shindig every year, so this is it.

While some of the stuff's centered towards the Tenere at the event, there's still some cool swag to be had. Hell, last year we had friends of friends on Goldwings show up out in Ouray and win some Wolfman expedition luggage.

Anyway, here's the quick and dirty details for the folk's with short attention spans.

Direct Registration Link: Register Here

When: October 20-24, 2014

Where: The Hub (MAP)

Cost: $36 (Giveaway/Dinner) / $45 (Giveaway/Dinner/T-shirt)

The Big Thursday Event:Before the giveway, The HUB will have several different options of food to select from (choose when you register). Your entree choices are pulled pork, fried catfish, roasted pork loin with honey mustard sauce, or chicken strips.
Choose two options of meat, salad bar, either baked or mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, rolls, tea, coffee and dessert.

Additional Info: Not convinced? A lot of wheels are in motion to make this event even better than Ouray for any that were somehow begging for more! See 2013 Rally for what you missed.

Hmmm... The MS rally is the following weekend. If I don't have a job by then, maybe I could make a week out of it

I spend way to much time between here and the tenere forum than I care to admit, but I vaguely remember you having an S10, right?

If so, this is like a rite of passage Plus Debbie & Randal over at The Hub are one of the coolest couples that ride that I've ever met. Top notch folks.

I do indeed have an S10. I'd like to meet some of the folks on the "in" list, especially Jaxon (~Tabasco~) since I've got about half of his inventory on my bike.

The wheels are tuning on how to make the Tenere rally and be back for the Don't Fall Rally.

If it means anything or helps at all, Thursday is "big" day for this shindig.

And, if you're a morning person and can get a jump start early, how long would it take for you to super-slab it back on the 24th to MS?

I always shoot for having my cake and eating it too, if you can't tell.

Jaxon will be there with his Big Blocks spooned on along with the other half of the TX Tenere crew. He owes me a case of beer at this point after putting up with him last year while we scouted NW AR

Only about 400 miles. Easy peasy. I'm seriously going to try to work the logistics out.

Just got done talking with Rox Speed FX and they have graciously offered to participate in this years rally by donating some of their Rox Risers.

I know Rox Speed FX is enroute via snail mail as well

Plus, a little birdie told me that Al Jesse hopes to bring his trailer out and spend the week with us

Hey everyone - we've been talking with a local NW AR Yami dealer the past few days, and it sounds like we'll have some information in the next few days about dealer support, similar to how Davis took care of us last year in Ouray.

Specifically, spare OEM replacement parts, discounted tire changes, and priority support from their techs. More to come.

Stay tuned ::017::

Have you been talking to Yamaha of Harrison? I live north of Harrison and they are my dealer. Nice folk and a good place.

NW Arkansas has some of the best on and off road riding in this region.

Yep - I've been talking with Eli to make sure something small (levers, shifters, clutch plates, brakes, priority repair/diag work, discounted tire changes, etc...) won't ruin someones week. Still need to firm up details before anything official though.

Dang doc - was hoping to get a chanced to meet you. Next time.
