Old School GPS

My Brother shows up on his new to him 2012 Gear Up to show how he mounted his old school GPS.

Then it pops and turns into a "pre Columbus" GPS

Now that is a true "adventure rider"

"Have bike and globe, will travel."

No problems with sunspot interference with that GPS.

old school

Yeah the next thing up from there would be a Halda Speedpilot, if the average rider could still afford one....

VERY Nice!!!!!

That's a fairly advanced unit there. It definitely dates after flat earth period. But check out those detailed color graphics. It also appears to be waterproof, doesn't eat batteries, is deflate-able, and thereby easily stowed below decks in a smaller form factor during inclement weather. Normal tire patches can be used to extend its life span, but doesn't require an electric inflator.

That's a LOT of positives. I'll bet it's not very expensive either.

Where can I get one?
