Ordering info above. The Elka should be ride height adjustable if you wanted to fine tune w/ the GS-YZ geometry.

Sent ya a PM too.

Elka's Canadian. Shipping from the US to Canada will, I'm guessing, be more than $15. Any possibility of a drop ship, to avoid all that cross-border-twice stuff?

Good point. We're buying from a US distributor tho. The $15 shipping is flat rate from me to each ADV'er buying one. One big order to me, less shipping cost. I'll find out shipping cost and update the pricing ASAP.

Another vote for the Elka shock. I have one on my 800 and it is a most excellent setup. $875 for the 3way with remote preload is a steal.

Do it you won't regret it.

Just got the shipping info. They will be drop shipped direct to each person and cost estimate is $30 per shock for ground or $52 for 2nd day air.

I'll update the first post.

Whoa... just got the order form. They set these things up custom for you.

Rider
Weight
Height
Type of use
With passenger? & passenger weight? (thinking luggage = passenger)
% of time with passenger?
Type of roads (mellow or sporting?)
Tire brand & model (think that is for sport bikes but interesting...)
Vehicle Make, Model, & Year
Ask about any bike mods?!

Getting closer now... any more inmates in on the deal?

Find out if they have a setup for the '13 800gs. The new bike actually has a different Swingarm ratio, not sure how much, but enough to make the '12 shock not be the right one.

Already heard back.

They do not make one for the 2013 F800GS yet. My contact said they can develop one if a few people want to order them but it's not going to be part of this group buy. If you have a few who want them we can work on it.

They do make one for the 2012 V-strom 650 'cause this GB isn't limited to just the BMW cool(aid) kids. If Elka makes it we can order it.

Just found out the PDF list on their website shows if it is available without the preload adjuster. The strom is available without it. The BMW for F650GS'Dakar and F800GS are NOT available without the preload adjuster.

They have options- Make shure you are geting the shock that that you expecting.

That price is a great deal if it is the Full Monty shock.
