Really? They still make shaft drive bikes? I thought they went out with Reagan. Never owned one or understood why people want them. I don't understand Scottoilers either.

If you're referring to the above bike, that's a belt... but I sort of have to agree. I have had, and currently ride, a BMW with shaft (and have had no problems) but chains are now so good, not sure the days when a shaft was a "really good idea" aren't past.
