... the XR is the greatest off road motorcycle ever constructed. There's nothing it can't do, hasn't won or will not outperform.

Would you chaps be classing this as a trail bike ride which would include a lot of single trail snotty stuff or an adventure ride consisting of mainly dirt open roads where one would normally steer the motorcycle with great fistfuls of right hand action? If it's a trail bike type ride will need to put my little beasty on a big diet, change gearing and some new rubber wouldn't go astray either.

Thanks
Robo

It will be an adventure ride, a mix of open dirt, tar, single track and also unknown. Knobs will be an advantage, hope this helps.

gday robo, like poppy said mate it will be a mix of open graded, non graded, tar, snot. i have a few options to include more or less of every thing as required. i have been trying to ride castle hill spur and back crk road for 2 years now. first time i couldnt find them, second time i turned around about 50metres into castle hill spur cause i felt guilty about taking kougar down it(road turned into a tunnel in the canopy) this time we ARE going down them rain hail or shine. unday will see us going down richmond range rd then hogarth range to cambridge plateau if we can make it that far. the longest transport will be from kyogle or casino on sunday arv/ evening. you'll be right.
