IOM ground transport?

I've reached an age where mortality is no longer a purely abstract topic. And there are still a few unchecked boxes on the bucket list. One of which is the IOM TT.

I realize that it's a little late but I'm gonna give it a try anyway. If I'm able to obtain tickets, transport and lodging, how does one secure ground transport to and from various places around the course?

Thanks in advance.

Hello AKjitsu...there are numerous ways to get around the island...it all depends on your base of choice. If you stay in Douglas you can easily get a bus to various points on the course...coach trips out to vantage points are available...you can get the tram from Douglas to Laxey then up to the Bungalow on the mountain...taxi's are available but expensive...quite a few good vantage points are well within walking distance from town.

The hardest thing is to arrange transport and accommodation...if you intend visiting drop me a pm I may be able to help...also take a look at...
