Hey ADv'ers, you have to take the time to listen to the last Rallyraidio call in its full 32 minutes. Nate was at his very finest, drawing out the color we crave. Pyn was great as usual; a very good story teller. But his Dad, Robin, was awesome for me. He told a big story.

Nate; 'How is the Dakar for your dad, Robin? '
Pyn; 'Well, he's sitting here next to me. Why not ask him? Pull up a chair, Dad...'

Robins responses were music to me.

ICERIDER just called into my hotel and rang me on my room phone.

We just spent a couple of hours shooting the breeze...awesome!

Pyn phoned me as I was leaving work today - great to have a bit of a chat about the Dakar and how it went. Have to say I felt humbled to be talking to someone who finished the Dakar

Also had a quick chat about his future plans as well ..............................need to book my holidays at work and get some ferry tickets sorted

Pyn! It was great to meet up with you and your Dad and most of your great team. I was a bit worried incase you were having an afternoon nap seeing you've just come through the Mother of all rally's followed by the Mother of all rally party's!

Yes it was a great chat, with your guys just getting back from the port after dropping the vehicles off. A very enjoyable account. Everyone on this forum (and knows you) is so impressed by what you have achieved and how you went about it.

Seeing your bunch of guys sitting together in the hotel wearing the team gear made me feel proud of you all. You are a thoroughly professional outfit who went about achieving something verging on a factory performance. You showed that your preparation and execution system including your team's is sound. It seems you have the gift of balancing risk against your riding experience to gain an almost certain good Dakar finish any time you choose to do it in the future. Good luck whichever direction it takes you.

Thanks for taking the time and good luck with your trip home regarding weather etc.

p.s. More $$$ £££ on the way, for your RR calls and anything else.

it'd be great to see you state side for an adv meetup, i'm sure all of us in team F5 will be there to greet you with open arms, just waiting to hear all your stories from the race of your life!
