Call in from finish
Lyndon calls in from the finish of his first FIM rally! It's been an intense ride, different in character from the Dakar, but providing invaluable lessons that will serve him well down the line. Job well done, Lyndon!

Excellent stuff Lyndon
![]() Be sure to ping me closer to the time, if there is anything I can help with on the Lima side of things. At least let me buy you a beer. What was your final result? - I was unsuccessful in my search for this.. Someone told me that one should ride 70% in a rally to account for overcoming unexpected obstacles - I found that works pretty good for me because I love speed as well. ![]() Please say Hi to Stan for me. Yes, and aim for a much improved result. That said though, I did not go this time for a position, purely for the experience amongst a list of other things and I checked every box! Job done, well happy.

Great job Lyndon! While the bike may have been a little big for this race that probably is excellent practice for you.
Some spectacular pics there

Well done, and great writeup. Nice to show you mean business as you get ready for Dakar, hopefully it will make working with sponsors and supporters easier going forward.
Good result, too, did the rest of FR GB have to buy drinks with you beating them all?

Extreme support package goes live on LyndonPoskittRacing.com
![]() So you’ve followed me for a while but never actually met or ridden with me, or you have and would like to do it again, well now’s your chance but with a difference. I have managed to arrange a very special weekend riding in Spain. This is top notch stuff, no corner cutting here, I’m really looking forward to sharing my time with some of my supporters. So here goes….. On this chalet based trip you will spend two days riding and living with me where I’m willing to share all, my time, my experiences, my knowledge about bikes, engines, riding and racing in what is set to be an amazing weekend away. Trials, Enduro, Rally, Supermoto and Road racing, I’ve had a go at in all and usually at a decent level. Engines, chassis, suspension rebuilds? I do all my own so this is your chance to quiz or learn from me. Adventure riding? Absolutely, I have over 150,000 miles on KTM v-twins and my infamous KTM 950 turned 90,000miles last time I looked. Next adventure? Dakar 2013 of course…but I could not do it without my supporters and I wanted to bring a select few an unforgettable weekend. Come and spend two days riding some excellent trails with me and help finance my 2013 Dakar campaign at the same time. Not only this, get your name on my Factory 450 RR for the duration! Each day will be followed by an evening relaxing in a luxury 4 bedroom (twin rooms) chalet with a pool, hot tub, BBQ and chill-out area and will be an opportunity to have a beer and chat with me about anything you like, no secrets! Is this trip right for you? You want to ride in small groups on a range of brand new 2013 Husabergs before they are even released to the public? The bikes tailored to your exact requirements as I will have access to the full 2013 Husaberg range of bikes for the entire weekend, just for us! Take your pick, 2-stroke or 4-stroke, 250cc or 500cc but be ready to swap and share. You’re happy to spend 100% of your time riding great trails without interruption. You’re happy to share a twin room with a fellow rider from somewhere around the world who too wishes to support me and experience this opportunity. In a luxury chalet, kicking back in the evenings with a few beers around the pool, sweet! Food and drink fully inclusive. Riding gear, boots, helmets, shirt, pants, gloves etc. all included courtesy of my sponsors. Just turn up in your casual gear and let’s have some fun! Swim-wear not included but one of my Klim Inferno jackets is. Only 6 places available so be quick. This event will take place on 1st and 2nd September. Just fly into Malaga airport (you have to arrange and pay for your own flights) on Friday and I will arrange collection from the airport and transport to the digs where I will meet you for a beer. Fly out on Monday or choose to continue your break elsewhere in Spain. Riding ability is not important, you just need some experience of riding off-road and feel confident to spend all day in the saddle. I’m looking forward to it. For a place and payment details, please contact me at Lyndon@lyndonposkittracing.com The price is all inclusive apart from your flights - £1000. Lyndon
