Lyndon - Hope the message sinks in that the others have put forth but just in case - don't screw up the healing by pushing too early. By week four you will be very tempted to push through and get back to normal. Don't do it. There will be plenty of time to push after week six. Think of the bone fusing like using JB Weld on a moving part with almost no activator and it's not mixed up all that well. So unless you want some guy with a mask breaking that thing again with a modest increase in your unsprung weight for some nice trick stainless or TI stuff; let it set up and heal right.

Good luck, the training will keep. You can always work harder when the time is right.

My first broken part was an ankle about 8 years ago. Since I never broke anything at all I thought it was just pretty standard and doctors see and fix these things all the time with 100% success. Well I got back on it too early and it did not set right. I had my ankle cut into 3 more times that year to try different things and in the end they had to partially fuse the tib/fib at the ankle joint. It's never been the same.

So I support the above advice...let it heal right.

Good luck.

Put an update on my web-site, the recovery is going slower than I'd like but it's coming along. Good thing is, support packages are coming along and should be ready to ship shortly.

Just saw a post on Facebook reminding me that it is just 88 days till Christmas. And that got me thinking - Pyn's got less than 100 days to perfect his wheelie off the starting ramp in Lima

The Plaza de Armas in Lima is pretty small! He'd better practice wheeliing in a curve!

Hobbling to the garage to do some work on the bike now....

Yikes, thought I'd already thrown in a few pennies. Order placed, look forward to cheering you on in January. Thanks again for all the lc8 write-ups, saved me quite a bit of aggregation over the years.
