I'm not at home so I can't picture my tach but one of the things I have noticed is that when I'm riding the tach and speedo needles line up pointing straight up. So whatever speed that is with the speedo needle pointing to 12:00 that lines up almost perfectly with the tach needle.

So is that 75mph and 5500 rpm? I'll chekck later.

I have a 15 and 17 tooth sprocket. It is pretty amazing how much you can lug these bikes if you richen up the fuel delivery. I doubt I will ride anything that will require the 15 tooth anymore as the bike pulls so well with taller gearing. Your circumstances may differ.

I'm with you there. What you running in the rear? I'm thinking of going back to the 16 tooth now that I have the HTC.

Right now, I am back to stock. I ran the 17t for a year and it was fine. You know these places, for Golar wash or Mengal pass at least the 16.

Here's a quick summary of my experiences for anyone reading this thread and still sitting on the fence.

My order was shipped within 2 hours of me doing the PayPal thing. That is some Fast service.

Product arrived shortly thereafter and was well packaged. The inclusion of the sticky bit and a zip tie for securing the temp sensor is a nice touch. Installation was seamless. The most time consuming part was removing and replacing the 6 screws for the faux tank cover thinger. I've taken a few test rides (nothing extreme yet since the weather is crap right now), and the snatchy throttle is nicely smoothed out. The PC works exactly as is stated.

HTC, thank you again for providing a fine product and such excellent and responsive service

got my PC today, fast shipping via USPS priority mail. not sure when i'll have a chance to install it, hopefully within a few days.
