Just a quick Q&A regarding install. I see where all the wiring harness goes but where would recommend I mount, what I assume is an ambient air temp sensor, the copper tipped thingy?

PS. even with the mayhem of holiday shipping mail backups and all, your box of goodies arrived in just eight days. Sweet!!

Laugh Success!!!!!!

As you promised the install was a breeze and finished in under 5 minutes.
The Power Commander works.
It does everything I expected it to do and does it well.
I would highly recommend this wiring loom (power commander).

been using my power controller for a few weeks now and love it, but i have a couple of questions. if i were to mount the switch in an easily accessible location, near the ignition for example, and my bike sat all day in the rain while at work would the switch short out or cause any problems? also, with the switch mounted by the ignition can i switch from the blue to the red setting (or visa versa) while the bike is running and in motion?

the switch is waterproof, the switch can be changed at anytime running or not... ride safe!

I read the whole thread and did not find another response to the question about one for a 1150. Have you worked on it yet.If so, I have a 2003 R1150RTP and would like to install one of your Power Controllers on it. Jim

My PC will work on the 1150 - and it comes with a money back guarantee. Thanks!

Finally got a break in the weather and installed mine today. Just a 45 minute ride around town but enough to notice a difference. The word that came to mind was smoooooth. Especially in first gear. My wife is going to love it as she's always complained about the jerky throttle.

Can't wait till the mountain roads thaw out so I can see what it's like off road. Great job Richard.

Cheers,
Mark

Order Received Today

I just received my order in the mail a few minutes ago. I opened the package and looked at the Power Controller and it looks GOOD. I will see if I can get it installed later today and take a test ride. I have a 2003 R1150RTP so it will take a while as I need to remove the Tupperware on the left side, I think, and then put it back on after installing the PC. Oh, how I love to remove and re-install that! I will report my impression of the PC after I have ridden a few times or at least one long ride. Thanks for the speedy delivery. Jim

If I am not mistaken I was his very first customer. Been running model #1 for a good while now.

The thing works like a charm. :-)
