Another happy customer!

I can tell a huge difference since installing, and the workmanship is excellent (coming from a guy who used to do a lot of vehicle wiring).

Here's where I mounted my switch on the F800 for now.

Looks like a good spot. "for now" ? - Do you think it may prove to be vulnerable there?

HTC - pm sent re: ordering

The switch is waterproof, but without a boot I think that mounting it like that is asking for it to fail. I'll either move it to a spot that doesn't allow it to easily collect water, or replace the switch with one with a boot.

I just stuck it there because there was already a hole that it fit into right there.

Hell, I might just leave it there and see if it survives. If it doesn't, then replace it.

Put a dab of dielectric grease and you are good to go! This is the stuff cable companies and the phone company uses to keep stuff water tight. Also perfect for light bulbs contacts and any electrical connections... Yeap the switch is waterproof rated!

Great product HTC, Thanks for prompt service !

Installed last night. 4 mile commute to work this a.m. No clutching it during congested green light slow starts. Noticed smoother acceleration. Pulled a few 1st gear figure 8's in parking lot, no lurching / snatchiness. Me Likey!

Didn't need to pull the sensor out of the airbox (per instructions) however,
just pushed in wire clip with screwdriver and popped it out, plugged in the new, all else exactly as prescribed.

Came over to this thread to pose the question"Will it work on a Husky TR650?", Jim do you have the moss update and if so is there still an improvement?

Regards,
Mark

Got the moss update last Wednesday after a 6 week ordeal. The dealer had to get a new password and then needed to get new phone training from Husky usa. My bike ran much better and I probably would have been satisfied - I had already ordered the power controller because I couldn't get the moss update. When it came, I decided to install it and see if it was any better. Bottom line - it really runs sweet with the controller installed - I am going to check my mpg - if it takes a big hit and shortens the range too much, I can flip the switch on the controller and use the 18 degree instead of the 36 degree setup. You can feel the difference between them.

I've got 2k miles on mine - bought in Feb.

Jim

Sounds like it may help out with the stutter I get off idle when the bike's hot. My Terra was moss'd the day I picked it up so I have no point of reference of how they run without it. Thanks for the reply. Well HTC it looks like you got another sale!
