Question HELP HELP Need some knowledge on front Rim

Gents,
Need some knowledge from the brain trust, might post on the Beemer side also. Have a friend coming through on long 'round the world ride with bent front 21 inch rim on his F800 GS. I have a brand new stock rim left over from the Caponard conversion I did last year, 2010 990 ABS. Any of you guys know if we can get his hub laced to this rim? Thought I'd ask over the weekend before trying Woody on Tuesday. Thanks in advance! Dave

rim hole #

Are they the same number of spokes?
Will your rim be the same number of spokes on his hub?
That's a start.
then calculate hub flange difference for spoke length.
You may be able to keep the old spokes, or trim and die new threads.

Thanks Stretch. Same amount of holes in the rim. We are just going take it in to a local wheel guy and have it respoked.
