First set
Ok I got a set of the guards and Man these things are beefy!!!!!!! he said the wouldn't be bullet proof but IDK they are pretty thick
I see they will need some silicone glue for proper fitting but I seriously doubt something will poke a hole in my tank in that area. Nice Kevlar on the back and carbon fiber on the front![]() ![]()

We tried some foam style double back tape, But it didn't want to stick to Spencer's Tank?
There are some very good double back tapes available for molding on cars etc.. I think the best route is Silicon Adhesive.. I added another layer of material just to add a bit more protection. These are beefy ![]() here is a photo.. Parts are textured in glossy clear or Matte. I think they look pretty good either way..

Looks like that will be tomorrow guys...Just clear coated and I dont think they will be dry for today.. Use a silicon Adhesive in clear..available at any hardware store.. It wont take much clean the tank well with alcohol or other degreaser. Put dabs (1" dia) of silicone approx 1.5 inchs apart. install tank guard and secure with clamps or tape.. leave overnight.. make sure to wipe any residual silicone off before it drys.

I asked for the carbon fiber-less version.... and looky what I got!
![]() ![]() Beefy does not begin to describe these things, they seem really tough! Which, as you can see, I will be needing. ![]() Test fitting. ![]() In a perfect world I think I would have wrapped these around to the back on the tank on the leading edge. But that is a very minot gripe. Waiting for things to dry.

Cool. I'd be in the market for some of these if someone makes em.
Is it possible to add some material to provide protection for the petcock? I've always been a bit worried about the petcock sticking out down there. My tank has taken some big hits and not punctured but some cf protection on the lower lobes would be nice.
