The DRZ400 triple is nice and beefy, but the offset is ~15mm (guess) and I am unable to make tight turns. Thanks in advance ....

Just a thought that the DRZ bottom triple is a gull wing design. On the DRZ, the sliders come within about 10mm of the bottom clamp when bottomed out, so the bottom clamp would need to be a gull wing type unless the bottom clamp sits higher in comparison to the DRZ bottom clamp. ( I have DRZ forks on my DR 650 and have looked at them for my airhead) They are a good fork. I think they would work well but some careful measuring / calculating would be needed with a non gull wing clamp.

Just wondering about the 4860 triples... Could be interested in two (trees plus stem and bolts). Is this still going ahead or what numbers are we looking at needed to make this happen?

I am definitely interested in following up on this group buy, but will have to wait until things quite down here at the shop...been trudging through a huge load of work.

As soon as I get the time, I will finalize the list and get the ball rolling. There are enough committed for the 50mm style, but not sure on the 4860's, (I still have a complete set including the stem left over from the last run that I can't seem to sell.)

For some reason I wasn't subscribed to this thread, but now I am so I will get notified on any new questions etc.

Thanks,
Guy

Just sourced my forks (wp4860's X 2) so now calipers and rotors and clamps. Wanted to bump this along to see if there are any other people interested in the clamps for 4860s so that we have enough to make this worthwhile.

As mentioned in my PM I'm in for 50mm extreme conventional forks.

Would the specs for the 43mm USD forks from a KTM Duke II be the same as for the 4860s? I think they measure 53mm at the triple clamps?

I have no idea... but the 4860's are 48mm I think...I'm sure the original thread in oldcool's airheads will show dimensions.

Would have liked a set for the 50's but sold them in the meantime. They are getting hard to source in Australia. If this buy goes through I would have to go with the 48's as they are still obtainable.

The DRZ are also becoming popular?? any chance of them fitting these?
