Rossi managed to double the gap from last year. He went from 16.431 last year to 33.665 this year.

Yes - in Moto2.
MotoGP was mostly boring, but luckily Stoner wasted his tyres or whatever, means we surprisingly got some excitement at the end. OK, I admit this was better than your average 800cc race. (But still not effin´ brilliant, like Moto2). Pecha72 screwed with this post 04-08-2012 at 01:03 PM |

I thought that was a very interesting race.
Personal victories for Lorenzo, Crutchlow, Hayden, and Edwards (who cursed on the live feed in Park Ferme). Honorable mention for Pedrosa. Great stuff. Too cerebral for some, apparently.

Very good race; as predicted by some of the riders, the new Bridgestones had more of an effect as it wore on.
And that's biggest straight-away on the calendar out of the way. As a Brit I thought Cal's 4th place was awesome.

I noticed something promising - not a single crash in Moto GP race.

The Honda's did seem to have a different exhaust note, I imagine from the TC.Tough day to be a Spies fan for sure, its nice to see Cal and Nicky performing well though.Moto2 certainly delivered!,as well as Moto3.I hope to see Scott Redding fighting for podiums soon.

Great rides by Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Crutchlow. Stoner was blaming his right hand for losing the race, I don't know if he has arm pump or just an excuse. Rossi was disappointing and they must be ready to dust off his M1 and paint it red. |

![]() Different tracks will favor different non-alien bikes, though. Anyone notice Bautista did the race distance on a soft rear? He nearly nipped Hayden at the end with it, too.

Lorenzo TRIED to rehash Rossi's celebrations but to me it was just a copy, and a bad one at that, try being original Now the battle for 4th between Crutchlow & Dovisioso, THAT was EPIC!

No planning, just go.

Why is Crazy Joe so down on power? Marquez passed him like he was standing still on the straights almost every time. Weird.
Also rocking start to the MotoGP class. Damnit, my dislike of Stoner had me rooting for Pedrosa and Jorge. Who I also dislike, but dislike less than Stoner. Bummed for Rossi. Also I think the crashes just caught up to Spies, let him heal up he'll be doing good. |
