I'm wondering if you guys Stateside saw the interview with J.B. before the race..? He wasn't exactly positive in his asessment of the situation, or his rider! If yuz didn't see it, I could rewind, and give it to you verbatim, if yuz like. ?
Looks to me like the whole shows falling apart. Calling Troy. Calling Troy.
I would appreciate more info on the interview.

Edit: I think this is it http://www.foxsports.com.au/motor-sp...-1226321784807

Rossi's downfall was / is Laguna Seca 2008. Not the pass in the sand, or Stoner's crash. It's his mental image of Stoner charging into turn 2, losing the front, then picking it up and riding off, over and over again. He's thinking to himself, "Jesus Fucking Christ, I couldn't do that on my best day, especially on this thing."

while I'm a huge Rossi fan, I think his days have come and gone. the perfromance of the ducati doesn't help one bit. thank god lorenzo and pedrosa reeled stoner back in and provided a bit of a race.
spies? WTF, maybe he didn't have air in his tires. I was hoping for Edwards to catch him!
Hayden? not bad, but if that's as good as he can get, might as well come back here and get that mile win.
Crutchlow and Dovi were great and I think will be real pains in the ass for the 3 aliens at the front.

I just heard that next year Aprilia is going to jump in the deep end with a full factory effort & Rossi will be the pilot!

I read last night that Spies' 2nd had some electrical issues that they didn't solve, so he rode the one twice-fallen chassis and it was messed up.

Rossi is way to clever to push 100% for 6th place and injure himself in the process..
Biaggi accepted that his days of truly competing on a prototype were over. It's a young man's game.

So he dropped to WSBK, won a title, and still races to a high standard in a different class.

Ironically it is the racing in WSBK that has made MotoGP so dull over the last couple of years. Hence the new tyres, the CRT bikes, and the sexy new graphics (which are cool ).

I would have thought that they would swap the chassis from the 2nd bike if they knew there was a problem with it...

What I can't figure out is witch bike is he going to ride next year.
I remember KRJR saying the same thing about the Suzuki, he wasn't going to Risk injury for mid pack finishes..

The Italian press is the one pushing Rossi the most for results saying he's the doctor and should have magically ridden the bike faster sine he got this new aluminum frame. How long did it take everyone else to get a good frame design and still constantly make changes.. Toby and Julian went on about how the press were harassing him for results. I could post that later today..

We are all excited about race for 1st, and nobody mentions CRT. I think they do not belong on a grid, what a joke. This is premier class of motorcycle racing, we do not want to watch James Elison lose 7 seconds per lap. Yes the grid appears bigger, but we all know at what cost. Fuc*ing joke.

It's a joke when there are about 300 spectators at Losail and the lighting alone is 450 million lumens.

That's called spending beyond your means.

Yeah, I've always been amazed that some odd combination of decisions/politics results in a world event being held in such an out of the way place with few spectators. And, the lights, to accomodate racing at night because it's too damn hot in the day?
