Yeah...They haven't had as much rain over that whole area down there. Just some spots......& MAN THE FLOWERS in those spots. I kinda hope to beat the rain comin back home on Sunday.....but it'll be close.

We've actually had some good rains down here. So far I've mowed the grass more often this year than the whole last year....... and I could mow again......

Looks like I have at least one recruit. Woodbutcher has said he'll meet me in the morning. Any other takers? Please?

As useless as silicon on a pig?

Just joking, I get it.

SOG, don't sell yourself short. Good supervision is important to any project. I see many government projects around here where the boss-person to worker-person ratio is 3 or 4 to 1. Well, maybe one boss, one safety consultant, and one other-kind-of-spectator to one dude using a shovel.

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Let me just say, "never underestimate a guy who goes by WoodButcher." We did some great work today and added another leg to the trail. Sorry but I don't have any mileage. The only thing electric on my bike is the ignition and the starter.

Yeah, we used several 2 stroke weapons of mass destruction and a lot of manual labor to double the size of the TXJames loop. I'd guess about 100 yards? We couldn't find Dave's gps out there to measure it. Sorry Dave, but we looked. Based on the scratches I evidently use my stomach to bust through the brush

We made sure it was a two wheel only trail. Sorry ghost, and don't take it as a challenge. There are a couple of trees on each end that we squeeze the trail through and no way around them. Just get the KLR running and give it a try.

So, I'm thinking of names for the trails. Like "Good Gully, Miss Mully" (or Molly if you don't like that). BigDave's Highway (like the climb at the beginning, btw). And maybe Small Bike Revenge for the other loop.

Unfortunately we didn't finish the new section until 4:30 and I was pretty well used up so I didn't even unload my bike. I only walked the other sections. So I won't get to try any of it out until the event.

Hope you guys get out there today, but it is looking like it'll be wet.
