Not even legendary? Hmm? Or that Legendary Legionnaire?

"Clear on that?" The Legendary Legionnaire asks the frightened woman-

"Madam, have you seen the Vampyre? -- You haven't? But what has frightened you so?"

She whispers in terror . . .

He picks up her 'barely audible' words . . . .

"A crazy man . . . pulp writer, he was . . . jumped into my greenhouse and started testing my tomatoes with his E-meter thingy!"

"He gibbered that they had to be 'Clear', or something like that!"

The Legendary Legionnaire calms the frightened woman-
"Don't worry! Its all right! Its going to be much - much - worse in the Future. There'll be hoards of his disciples turning those horrors loose on good people, and wiping out their bank balances. And they'll be in league with the strange couch-jumping actor who'll be putting hypnotic commands into his movies and . . ."

But there was a creaking, scraping sound . . . and they both turned in apprehension . . .

$360? I thought they would be way more. However, it doesn't matter if they were $3.60, I would break my neck if I tried them. Look like I am zombie bait!

But I digress . . . . .

Military Exo-Suits Are On the Way

Quote:
SSC (also known as Natick, for the Massachusetts town where it's headquartered) is currently testing suits built by Sarcos and Raytheon, but they have some issues to resolve . . . primary problems, literally, are the power sources. They're too large and heavy, and don't last long enough.

The primary function of these suits will be to help soldiers lift heavy objects, such as missiles or crates full of supplies. Giving one person the ability to do the work of five is awesome, until a hydraulic line blows out. Imagine having a 1,000 pound crate of MREs land in your lap. Exo-suits in the field are definitely going to require redundancy.
Enhanced strength and endurance, combined with hightech battle armor!? Seems to me a fine fit for Zombie Fighting!

Then on to Zombie-Mastiffs . . . . . and (dare I move it up a notch) even Werewolfs?

(But what can you expect from the continuous roll of paper out-put from the typewriter of a prolific writer of pulp fiction, and space opera? )
