Sounds awesome. Looking forward to meeting/seeing people again. Definitely going to try and make it back up there with the Wee. Maybe I'll upgrade the tires this time :) That was a hell of a ride home in storm but the Wee has yet to fail me.

Well, now that the Roaming Rally is in the books, I guess I better start turning my attention back to the BK.RD.Run!

As long as we won't have another Katrina disaster me and my better half should come over for at least one day. This time around she will be riding her own bike

bk.rd.rnr sets it up so that as little as possible is asphalt - however it is unavoidable in the region and pretty much impossible to do all dirt/gravel.
if i remember right the largest percentages of asphalt were the few miles into/out of the lunch stop and the final ride back to the campground (you don't mind the asphalt at this point - you need to attend to understand why not sure that answers your question - but expect a good route and a great time.

i'm going to amalgamate an oversized cotton swab, an oversized and rigid bendy straw and back scratcher into a device that can be adjustable to assist in completing certain hygienic activities ... reaching around yourself with fractured ribs is ... quite painful to say the last.
i am feeling slightly better. it'll be a week or two before anything even resembling normal occurs - and then i certainly won't be back up to fighting standards. yet.

Loph I just realized that YOU were the rider down in the other thread ![]() Heal quick First couple of weeks is the worst than it gets better. I had two fractured ribs few years back, so I know a little what you mean. At that time certain herbal treatment helped me to go through it
