anybody around in PIEMONT /ITALY End of May 2012?

We (2 or 3 990 Adv) are going to ride the most popular off-road trips in Piement (depending on snow situation) during 2 weeks starting with 24.05.2012.

I use to ride there each year, but not on May as the snow is usually too much!

I think I will be there the second/third week of august or in July but just for a week end.

Yes thats the risk, above 1900 masl and north side of the moutain could be snowy.
But we normaly are then allone and no "closed" ways.

Last year/May Liguria we met 3 bikers in the mountains in 2 weeks!

What you mean is understood, that's why I prefer to ride on July. The important is not to go on August, in Italy is holiday time. In July there's few snow (or none) and less people
