How can I pass up a chance to meet new FF's and harass the ones I haven't seen since WetFest?

About what time in JV? You mentioned "gas and lunch" So I'm guessing sometime between 11am-1pm? (depending on how fast the KLR's are )
You want a two-hour window?! Who do you think I am,XFinity?

I have not a clue about what time we'll get into JV. You're talking day 3 of a 4-day trip -- given that we may be overtaken by wimsy here and there, "lunchtime" is the best I can do.

OK, here's who I have as confirmed:

Me
Miguel
Linkweewee (at least for the first night)
threecows
Superpacman13
xr_doug

elk311 and asrvivor appear to be on the fence.

If elk311 and asrivivor join the tour, I think we have a group.
Too many more, and I think we'd have a crowd...

Whimsy can be such a bitch...

If I don't catch you in JV, I'll camp at Leslie Gulch and wait for y'all to show up. If we don't meet up, it'll still be a nice ride.

I'm in for sure. Sounds like a dangerous and terribly life threatening good time. Or maybe just relaxing and fun. Either way I'm bringing a towel.

Time to cut off further additions to the roster, methinks. Elk311, if yer still on the fence, this is your chance to fall off. . In or out?

I wish I had it already. Sure got played on the time frame, but it'll be so much better with all things installed when it comes. And I have had time to get over any buyers remorse and am now on to excitement and concern over learning to riding a whole new machine. Woo Hoo

Gary, you wanna head down here together? What time can you leave? Let me know and I'll make sure I can do it. Haven't seen your new bike yet up close, kinda excited to see it.

Are you riding the BMW?
Yah I got two newer bikes since I last saw you a 2006 Tiger and just yesterday I bought a 2002 KTM 640 you
won't believe. It is super low miles and looks brand new.
Lets do lunch some time I'll buy. I'm free every day.

Soooo,,you LIKE to stay bent over longer?! Got it!
Maybe a snorkel for the hot springs as an aid in that quest,,jus' sayin',,

[edit cuz I forgot]
V-Duck/Felix,,no worry about extra riders unless there is a campsite restriction.
Your first post,,the invite, says 'come one, come all', then I see you have started to worry a bit about too big a group.

Don't. 30 riders can travel just as effectively as 5 or 6.
You just break up into smaller 5 or 6 groups, and space the pace,,guys on big bikes riding fast go ahead, then a pack of more conservative types or what, then smaller bikes and KLR's that don't want to run 75mph all day, and so on,,,it works out, buhleev me.
I favor a max group size of 6 riders, for various reasons. I'll give you one example, and it relates to that area you intend riding. 6 riders in a group kick up too much dust, and riding in a single file, spaced far enuff to avoid choking takes forever to get anywhere. so space out into pairs,,2 ride side by each, then the next pair, and so,,,, and you get to kick it down the road with yer buddy, and no-one eats too much dirt.
Trade off pairs at the next junction, and everybody gets to ride with everybody else,,all good!
when the riding is done for the day, and you are all together as one group,,,,

then you are a mob!

Soap.. never use the stuff myself. I catch rattlesnakes bare handed and squeeze their venom for my soap, then save the carcasses for spare 21" tubes.

Nope, I bring liquid soap for my buddies to use when we're in the hot springs together, but not for me!

Hey ass-river, are ya nervous..? I got dibs on the new guy - you other FF's can git yer own!!
