No need, have one of my old TZ350s still, raced them for many years.

The standard TZ750s have reed valves to spread the power and smooth it out a bit; 250s and 350s of that era don't.

Not really, but a big step at 8 or 9,000rpm, depending on what you've done with porting, jetting and timing.

(TZ race start technique: hold it at 8,000 on the line, lights or flag go, slip clutch until the bike's moving a little, then immediately just dump the clutch. Slipping the clutch burns it out, but lots of people try to hold 'em at 6 and slip: slow starts and clutch burning results.)

This years race effort from Gpl racing in Nova Scotia.

A local rider that I could not sponcer with money, but was willing to supply him with tuned barrels, head and pipes. I've really enjoyed the time at the track setting it up and seeing him fly down the straight.
