Noah - You've got a great head on your shoulders - way to stay positive and keep it together thru all this. Remember that we may not be at your side on your journey, but we are right there with ya. I think its F'n awesome how sooo many people here are willing to help out and most of us are 1000's of miles away. Just shows how great this site actually is. And Id love to contribute to your "new" bike fund if they dont find your beloved 690. I hope they catch up with your bike and its in a condition to continue on this phenom journey. But I look forward to the next chapter of your quest if they dont - RTW on a 90 would be EPIC. Fingers crossed that they find the KTM thou. patiently waiting for more news ...................... |

Noah,
I hope they got your bike and it is in good condition. Can't wait to hear about it. Hopefully you will find that for the few fuckheads in the world, there are many more that want to set things right.

Hopefully the thieves wont have an extra fuel pump for it so the chase doesn't last too long.

Hey man.
Just got word of this. I'm from Ireland and don't even consider Dublin as part of Ireland. Dirty scum bags. I'd be surprised if you see the bike again. www.Donedeal.ie is where it might turn up but more likely ebay for drug money in parts. I'm back in a few days if you need help locating another steed. I have an Africa twin back there at the moment you can use to get around on and a KLR on the way in a shipping container. Get the fuck out of Dublin anyway for a start before they steal anything else from you. There is a friend of mine in Limerick, a farmer, lives in a big house on his own, not a biker but it will be a place to crash for a week or so till I get back. I going to put some feelers out in the "underground" back there in the meantime. There are a few places, one I know of, that your bike may be fenced off to. |

Hope they catch the culprit and hit'em in the sack with a ball-peened hammer.
Fingers crossed, Noah...

Here's hoping...
that the Garda has a Whirlybird up and about, to track the criminal. Lot less chance of evasion if the flyers are on a bike chase...

The fucking fuckers!
That is unbelievable, truly sorry for you Noah. You must be shattered. Best of luck to you in the chase. I've got a peachy stock 2000 suzi xf 650 with 30,000 k's over in Muenster, Germany that could be parted with if you're in need of a bike. Also of course, a couch to crash on. keep your head up, Stu |

man, get the word around as fast as possible. I remember the same thing happened to Colebatch, and the bike was found a day later after he got on the horn to the community.

With today's events, I am at least much more stable mentally then I was yesterday. It seems that it is not (yet) in a container to another country. Every email I get is very incredible and it is really restoring my faith in humanity even if I don't get my bike back. I will continue.
