It has been great to meet Noah, and be able to help in in some small way,so that he can carry on with his RTW trip.
We have had a nice couple of weeks getting to know him,had lots of new English beers to try, plenty of food, and our livestock will certainly miss him camping next to their field!
His stolen 690 will be arriving this week, and it will get a full service, before being repaired. So all Noah needs is another US ADV rider to come over to the UK and buy his ready made RTW 690,then carry on its adventure.
Good luck Noah, now I have to repair the grass where your tent was!!!!!

Once again very generous of you to help out a fellow rider and ADVrider like that John, good on ya!

Question What happened to the old one?

So....how'd they find the old one, where was it and what the heck happened to the windscreen on it? Was there a chase, the bandit crashed and the windscreen took his head off (or some other poetic justice like that)?

Scum bags were known to be wheelieing it around. We can live in hope that said scum bag met a grisly, painful & slow end, or is about to.

Great sentiment in theory but the balance of arseholes to samaritans these days is akin to that of a 200 pound 8 year old on the playground looking for a seesaw partner.

You say forget but I'll give it to lunch hour or so till it all comes screaming back to you.

Glad your trip is back on track, but even how it got off track was eventually a good track. I'm just happy for you that you are continuing and it didnt all go down the shitter
