Amazing!

Glad to hear that your luck has changed for the better, and you're now well on your way! The photos of Scotland looked incredible, I didn't know that it was such beautiful country!

The weather in Deutschland is Scheisse!!

If you need to hide from the rain, there is a couch for you in Muenster

cheers,
Stu

Noah, thanks for a great report.
I'm happy your luck has changed for the better and hopefully you got all the bad part out of the way and the rest of the trip will be smooth riding!

May I suggest you ride Romania... It is cheap (for a EU country), you will be able to see interesting things left over from the communist era (manly left over in the culture itself), the contrasts of old and new everywhere is pretty interesting (like horse-pulled carts side by side with BMW X6, but you can see it in the constructions, in the people, etc) and roads like the Transfagarasan and the Transalpina are well worth the trip.

Buen viaje!

Giant Loop Great Basin Luggage

Noah, what are you impressions of the GiantLoop luggage? How does it compare to the hard luggage you used on the first leg of you journey? I'm trying to decide what I want to get for my Super Tenere.

As an American that lived in Germany for a year, I'd skip the one in Muenchen, find one in the little villages. in the middle of nowhere. My Oktoberfest involved meeting other Americans that I wouldn't really want to talk to elsewhere, much less in a country I'm trying to experience.

Let me know if you stop in Vienna or if you need some informations about Austria. Right now, this week, we're in Croatia visiting the "BMW Bikerdays" (Rovinj).

Maramures and Bucovina in Romania - try it

Those regions are also worth to visit in Romania. Wooden vilages and churches XIVth century im Maramures. Painted outside churches in Bucovina, not touched fresc technique from XV century. Unique. And great people, ready to chat with you whenever you are ready.

Love your RR

Don't care if it does turn into a ski report. You take awesome pics and your writing is very informative. Also, the pics of the beautiful ladies are very nice also. The Smithy has been my favorite so far, man she is pretty! Happy trails, and keep the shiny side up!

My mother told me I am not supposed to "objectify woman" on the internet
I told her i have to take pictures of everything that is beautiful.. whether it is a moutian pass or a nice girl.

On a side note, Berlin was very fun. Somehow I didnt take any pictures. To much Oktoberfest beer tents maybe. There was a marathon on saturday and a radiohead concert so i had to leave the city yesterday because there were no rooms anywhere. I met a girl who had an extra radiohead ticket, but i couldnt find a place to stay. Im not a radiohead fan, but a free ticket is a free ticket. oh well. I found a great little hostel in a town called Braunsdorf. there was a groupe of 5 families who get together this weekend every year. They MADE me eat and drink with them. I was going to go into Poland today but the ktm is low on oil and so I will stay the night in Fürstanwalde because there is a KTM dealer that will be open in the morning. I added some 15-50 because it was all i could find. I will play it safe and give her and oil change tomorrow.

Also, the kezboard here in germanz is messed up because the y and z are switched. ßüt zöü cän tzpe like this if zöü like.
