300+ miles on Saturday and had to go for more on Sunday! Had a friend help me install Pilot3's Tiger LED brake light mod and had to test it out... so that means a night ride!! Decided to go move our local Tag around.

It felt like Spring riding around downtown last night!

Yes, it's a Saddleman. First time to ride with him and not sure if he is a member on here or not. I asked about it and he said it was comfy. Looked them up online and they are pricey, too!!!

Needed to get out and enjoy the sunshine today and figured everyone was busy getting ready for the Superb Owl, so I headed over to Shuckers to eat lunch and saw a post from BABaraccus, I mean babarnette. So he joined me at Harleywood,

So after Thunderhart bailed on us, the two of us headed out to run my Rez DualSport Loop.

So we are buzzing up Pipeline Rd, and at the fork in the road, I see someguy with a KLR taking a breakkk

He had a great looking KLR!!!

SO joined in as we rode on..

Some others out enjoying the weather...

Made it back to PBTP to top off our tanks with REAL GAS...and head our separate ways...

Okay, so here goes... So 4 of us met up at my office, some arriving an hour before KSU time. But that is how we overachievers roll!

(Supahflid, Knightwork, BradH, and myself)

My camera was in my tank bag when exited the office, strapped my large Wolfman duffle on the Tiger, and the other 3 were ready to roll, so I never got camera out. We headed up I-55 and after a few run-ins with certain F150, F250, F350 drivers who don't like to share the road, we finally broke free of metro gridlock and hit open Interstate. Stopped at Vaiden or some exit for gas (I had not topped of) and stretched then flew on.

It is getting dark by the time we turn off I-55 and onto Hwy 35 heading for Supah's camp. It IS dark by the time we arrive. To protect the reputations of all involved, and becasue my camera was still in my tank bag, no mention of any frivolities or happenings will be reported...

This one spy photo was smuggled past security...

So early the next morning, after what felt like 3 hours of sleep, I hear Knightwork up and rustling around. So I get up and start getting ready to ride. Soon everyone is at least vertical and moving somewhat...

"They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. 'Said I was well. I got hired on by a Mr. Bill Cox fixing lawnmowers and whatnot. That grass out there in the yard has grown up quite a bit. I reckon I might cut it for you. "

My old camera is getting harder and harder to get focused and framed while moving...

I see the bikes ahead of me pulling off at a truckstop. Seems BradH's KLR is not running well. So we check the easy roadside things (air filter, fuel, spark) and can't get anywhere. so we contact the rest of the crew that is having breakfast 45 miles away. We limp to the Waffle House for our grease intake and let the other guys head our way.

You can see it well in the pic, but there is a big hole in the road. That hole is full of mud. Deep ruts...

Anti pulled off on a trail to show us this little canyon in the middle of nowhere

Would hate to explore down the trail in the dark and not see the drop off coming...

Where's Waldo / Knightwork??

We end up in Eupora, MS at a gas station / McDonalds. This is where Anti headed back east and the rest of us headed South... Well after Supah put on a few more layers...

The effort it took should have warmed him up for a few miles...

As we headed south and entered the Natchez Trace, we rode through snow flurries for a few miles. It was cold. And getting colder. Wanted to get home quick, but too much speed makes the cold worse. It was a great ride, great weekend, etc. Thanks to Supah for the hospitality of his camp, and Anti for showing us some great new roads!!!

And no mention of Supah wearing his helmet inside and trying to drink beer through his viser...
