You are, as always, welcome.
Really sad to have missed this one. Not having these stories about the rain and the snow and the toads and locusts will reduce my lie reserve by 30%.
Glad you guys are making it back safely.

Fire Good - Cold & Wet Bad
Most of the weekend was spent at the fire warm attempting to keep warm and drinking beer and/or other fine spirits to numb the cold.
Oh my aching liver.

Home safe around 7:00 PM, Good times at Warped XIII , the 525 is demudded and ready for the desert next week. Drew's (Seavoyage) Tiger is in the shop needing the oil cooler repaired, it went down in the snow on Greenhorn Summit, Friday (the 13th) LOL, on the way to Warped, the right crash bar pushed the oil cooler into the case. (Crappy design work on the crash bars). RR with pics coming soon....South Rincon trail kicked my ass today, we made it a ways past Salmon Creek, that trail is one rocky SOB.

Thanks Gerg for an awesome rally! sign me up for next year...

Took me 30 miles from Casa de Ace before discovering it and just enough cash to buy enough gas to get back to his place.

Gerg, Job well done! Much thanks.

I realized after 29 years of riding/racing that as much as I love motorcycles I had only tolerated ridding the bikes that I have owned. , untill I bought my GS now I have a hard time getting off the ramp to go to work.

Nah, Bill is doing next year...GillaFunk is going to do the 10th. There will be a mighty celebration.

I like Yeti's idea of stashing $40 on the bike somewhere. Couldn't hurt to have if you ever decide to pull an idiot move like Gilla and ride a full tank of gas with no wallet in your pocket. I remember there was someone online who was selling "stash sacks" for Airheads which slid up inside the backbone of the bike under the gas tank...but nothing so convenient on the GS that I've found so far.

I should just change my 'screen name' to Rideless... Had a great time. My family thanks all y'all for getting me home safe.

I owe my new found life to Gerg. My sincere thanks to pcvance for adopting 'SnowTiger', my two dependable Sherpas: Bonerov and bixu for loyally manpacking my 'snivel gear' through snow and desert; my transportation coordinator Jstory; my limou driver 4Serge. Without all of you I would have lived an incomplete life without images of a bald Russian working his spoons on 3 flats yesterday! And his tyre is still flat. WTF??? Must be the Russian technique for airing down for Siberian snow conditions. (Maybe he should just stick to pumps made in Sweden)

And last but not least, I would have never experienced a true ADVenture without: CougarRugger and dirtyrugger, two good Samaritans who have shown me Mother Theresa was not just an avatar but truly lived; kind enough to open their truck doors to a stranger on the side of the road to provide door-to-door limou service then demolish the smuggled Vodka straight from my piss bottle! PS. It was an akward but enlightening experience being an Asian redneck sandwiched between 2 dirty whiteboys.
