Will be in Mesa Verde National Monument today. I am pleased we're on our way to Colorado.:)

Also a special thank you to Hair, Princess Jamaica, and Rick for all your kindness and generosity.

Hey Guys,
We've been out of touch siince we came back north, but just caught up with all the posts. Glad to seen you're doing well and having a good time. Lot's of stuff to see, and not enought time to do it all. Been to a lot of the places you mention and enjoyed it all. Glad you weren't at Olver Lee SP when a north wind blast was funneled down thru the valley into the park. Damn near knocked our little RV trailer off its axles. It would have blown you out into the desert.

Keep up the good work.........

Dick & Pat

We rolled into CO yesterday, I was getting very tired for some reason and was about to fall asleep on the bike. So we pulled into a gas station to get some Mt. Dew and some fuel. We were pulling out again when a Wee Strom passed in front of us, he was going our way so we fell in behind him. Stopped at a light in Durango and he said we were loaded down more than anyone he had seen before. At the next light he asked where we came from, then offered to put us up for then night. We are getting packed up now and will roll out of Dana's place shortly to do the Alpine loop. I will get some more pics up when I have a chance.

Stayed at Capt. Rick's for the local ADV BBQ, and it was a good time. We got to ride trials bikes for a bit in the backyard and got some pics of that. And we joined some of the guys for a ride to Valles Caldera, which is not to be missed if you are around these parts. We ran some gravel, and the dust has messed up Kim's camera. Signing off for now!

Good going guys!! Your tired feeling may be from the higher altitude you're riding in. Drink plenty of water and even some pedialite for hydrating yourself.. DAMHIK!

Awesome trip you two. The terrain out west is a little more interesting than Florida, huh?

I get nosebleeds every fall and spring when the weather changes. It's been happening so long I barely even notice any more.

Wow go away for a bit and look at all the stuff I miss. Subscribing so I can go back and catch up. I can't stand to read this sitting in my office chained to a desk.

Good luck to both of you, you've come a long way!

Was good to see ya Sir! I'm proud to know such a fella as yourself.

Kim, I used some saline sinus spray a couple times and that helped... Also beer, but more studies need to be done to prove that one out. As luck would have it Eloy will be heading that way soon to continue my research

We ended up in Black Canyon of the Gunnison(sp?), CO last night. Its just West of Montrose. We are staying one more night here without internet, I will try to get some more pics up soon!

I don't know which side of the canyon your on but there is a great restaurant in Crawford. Its not hard to find, its about the only business in town. Ride though Grand Mesa also. There are some nice campgrounds in Grand Mesa. It might be a little chilly up there right now?

Likewise, Buzz.

My studies have shown beer to be an effective treatment for nosebleeds, but buy it in the little 7 ounce bottles. Twelve ounces is a lot to pour down your nose.
