Sydney to Barrington Top NSW

Hi Guys,

I am currently planning a trip in early May with a mate form work, I have a Dakar 2003 and hes got a VStrom, to Barrington Tops via Scone.

We plan to stay at Dungog and then come back via Glouster.

Any who has done this trip able to give any advise on trip planning, tracks we must traverse or any other useful info will be greatly appreciated.

Head to Wisemans Ferry out passed Hornsby . Take the top ferry , turn right once off the ferry & folllow the Great Northern road thru St Albans to Bucketty.Left once back on the tar to woolombi to Scone. This gives a mixture of tight winding tar ,graded dirt with some nice veiws of the Hawksberry.Easy riding ,did it once lost on a Harley & have since done a few times with a bit more pace on a Tenere & the X Challenge. Have fun.
