I was sitting here wondering if there was a Buell thread around here. It's not as big as I thought it might be, but I'm not surprised. I've got some pictures on here somewhere, over on and on (can't load any photos from my phone or I'd post some here.)

I've enjoyed just about every mile I've put on my bike (2007 XB12S). I bought it in April of last year from the second owner with just a few ticks over 2,000 miles on the clock; I'm now approaching 14,000. The only issue I've had was a small leak from the rocker box which is from a bad seal from the factory. That oil eventually shorts the fan. So aside from replacing the gasket and fan this bike has treated me well.

Early on I found myself wanting to keep it low mileage, but after the bike gained some character I decided that Erik Buell meant for the bikes to be ridden, and that's exactly what I plan to do.

I was really glad I was on the STT today instead of my softail. I ran smack dab into danger and only the agilty and superior braking of my Buell kept me from squashing a few toads.
