I'm hoping it works as well for you. The foams should be taller but will bend with their internal spring so shouldn't be a problem.

KTM pounded me, $16 per jet!

If anyone has a pair of 170ish or bigger mains they wouldn't mind loaning out for testing please send me a PM. I'll return or trade what I have, and I have a fist full of FCR mains I don't need.

Otherwise I'll make a Sudco order in a week or two.

What is your objective with these mains, to tune with or without the oiled foam overs?

The 160s are as big as I have, with the warnings of extreme lean I just wanted to fatten it up to see if it might still be on the lean side. It sure feels good with the 160s and the K&Ns are uncovered now! I'd like to get it fat then back off it just to be safe.

Yes hope you get this sorted. Ideally jetting with foam pods and filter skins is what I would like. Does anyone have concrete proof that the 950 Rally actually had a paper element inside the airbox??? Maybe the K&N pod was all they ran. Curious.

I remember the conversations at that time Barbasma, Filinchini. Mioni ran the paper filter.

For everyone's knowledge..........

I had the experience of tuning my FCR's with K&N's and a properly mounted wideband, then switched to Uni pods. I was surprised that I did not have to alter the jetting............ worked the same.
